On Friday, September 30th, Nature Change will present a short symposium at the Hagerty Conference Center of Northwestern Michigan College in Traverse City. Our goal is to foster an open exchange of information and opinions on the management of natural resources through this time of great change.
Featured Presentation: Changing Nature’s Clocks – Climate Change and Phenology by Distinguished Professor Mark D. Schwartz, University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.
Dr. Schwarz is a synoptic climatologist who specializes in phenology. His main research interests are plant-climate interactions during the onset of spring and autumn.

Special Panel Discussion: Can We Preserve the Region’s Natural Resource Heritage?
